What a great waterfall, I want one just like it, but the faces would have to be family faces! I can imagine my son Max complete with the dreadlocks and a running nose..........

What a clever pond design. you must have a head like an encyclopedia there is so much going on in there at once.
The dog is beautiful;he looks so wise and it is nice that he will have some lively company in his old age and that your Mum will not feel quite so alone when he goes.

For a variety of reasons, not all happy ones, I have been a bit inactive recently except for the last few photos, and as a result I missed your kind reply to me regarding your favourite piece, for which I thank you.
You asked about my favourite and it has to be the wizard at the moment, but I have to say that every time you add something it makes one change one's mind again just like you did.

You are right that Lincoln is not so far away as all that, but present circumstances make travelling outside my own area more difficult than it should be. Maybe next Spring if you are planning another open day.

Meanwhile I shall take pleasure in looking at your photos and admiring your talent.

PS.I hope you had lots of visitors for your open garden day.

Wouldnt have known without the label lol 400 varieties ? that makes me a little less confident but sure looks like it ..

We have this variety in our garden its Hypericum inodorum ' Elstead ' and the flowers are followed by bright orange red fruits in autumn.

Its a Hypericum of some variety, can't say which cos I can't see the whole shrub to determine size and growth habit.

no its not a honeysuckle
Ive got one similar to this in my front garden , i call it my buttercup shrub because the flowers look like large buttercups.
The only thing is with mine is that it does not have the long staimons in the centre.
Plus mine does not smell neither

am loving Ur work ,i 2 like art but never followed it took up hairdressing instead ,but i do a lot of weddings so u have to b creative . love doing my garden and doing up old furniture ,making stuff , doing my house, which my mates say is a bit wacky lol. not into beige. and that ,like character in any thing. wish i cud c ur garden in person tho.

How they have grown,Leigh, and absolutely wonderful.I am so glad they have all got a good home to go to,but that is what they are used to,isn't it? ...and what they deserve...

Thanks Leigh, I understand now. I'm just planning ahead. If I move house and have to build another pond it would probably be above ground level for ease of maintenance. I know who to come to for advice :-)

i love the floating eyes Np,..hope your open day went well..

The wall looks fantastic. I hope today went well for you and the weather stayed good.

Oh my! That dog is just so gorgeous. He looks so wise and very distinguished.

Love the pond too. The rill is interesting. What supports the angle iron and the natural stones? The rill must be very substantial to support stones that might be used as seating, or have I misunderstood. Also what sort of liner has the pond got? It all looks lovely.
