envy your talent, I can't draw or paint for toffee.

Great idea for planter! but lol it looks a bit "fixed", so one would have to make very sure that it was in the right place at the start

Very atmospheric tiger picture NP. The gas tank pot in the making looks intriguing.

Lovely tiger. I am so looking forward to seeing the finished product of the head planter, very intriguing, are the pipes for drainage, just have no idea how it is all going to finish but am looking forward to seeing it all done. What colour will you paint it or will you leave au-natueral. You have so many clever ideas :O)

I sent a PM to Gattina in January Leigh as I'd not heard from her for a while and she sent me a nice long reply. Without going into too much detail the gist of it was she's not having a good time in Italy, lots of problems, etc.

As MG suggested, please do PM her. I'm sure that she would love to hear from you. If you do contact her, please mention me as she gave me her email address, I emailed her and I didn't get a reply. So I'm just wondering if she's ok or maybe the email didn't get to her for some reason.

She popped on a couple of weeks back but not as regular as she used to be Leigh.

Yes just send her a pm

Wow ,that's a fireplace with a difference I'm off to see the next blog xx

Look at leymus arenarius. HC

2000 carex to choose from! But for goodness sake avoid Carex pendula or you'll have babies sprouting in every crevice and pot.

I have seen pictures of Carex being used, although Uncinia might be used. Not blue, but there are a lot of options in the different types.

Looks really good Leigh.

It actually looks like a photograph - amazing how life like your artwork is Leigh.

Oh yes I remember now, proves I take notice lol.....

Superb, Leigh! I can't get over how you seem to achieve so much in such a short space of time.

I have a vague recollection of seeing a quote somewhere that if the eyes follow you, then that proves the talent of the artist, haven't a clue where I got that little gem from, might even be as far back as schooldays, you never know that might be the cause of my queer feelings, lol.....
Your work that you've shown over the years always makes me think of those monuments on those islands, is it Easter Island, not sure, they are fascinating...
