Good outlook on life you have ther NP, I agree, why can't we all just live together and get on with life - we only have one and it should be as much fun as possible. We're definately not the most intelligent thing on the planet, and definately the most stupid, eh? Lol.

I'm glad you posted these pics Leigh. All of them are lovely, well loved dogs. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful Leigh..I will look through these any time I need some cheering up...such a lot of love here..thank you..~Cj

You had some beautiful dogs and you loved them all ,Thanks for showing photos of them I wasn't upset by them and I don't know how anyone could be.

I think you were very thoughtful, Np, as I've said to you already. Thank you for considering people's feelings. :-)

No apology needed.

Hi Leigh,
Your dogs are wonderful friends, and you clearly love them and care for them. It's obvious from all your photos, so don't feel upset. They are part of your life, and your family and that is not always understood by those who do not keep dogs as pets.
They are fantastic characters. We lost our Boxer many years ago when he was 9, and he was a real friend and companion and a great 'clown'. We still miss Brigand, and would love another Boxer pup, but the garden is not dog friendly any more.

We have a lovely portrait of him, and on the reverse of the picture we have written a special message to thank him for coming into our lives and helping it to be so much happier and richer. That is the special gift they bring to us.
All best wishes,
Grenville.

Wow, I thought this was a photo at first - you drew it? This is a fab pic, provoking many thoughts and feelings, a lump in the throat and a tear in the eye. Well done NP for portraying this so well. No one should have suffering like this. When you see the news and they show distressing pics and film, you can't help but stop and think how lucky we all are not to have to endure such atrocities - the thoughts and feelings of these people can not even be imagined by anyone else other than those experiencing the point blank horror. No one in the world of today should be treated with anything but humanity, but sadly it's shown on the TV every day - starvation, disease, war, abuse....the list is endless - it should NOT happen!

No upset here NP. I think it is lovely that you post pics past and present. I've been trying to find one of my lovely Ginger dog who is no longer with me. And, I have photo posted of Achmed my old cat who is no longer here. I don't see anything wrong with it. If anyone is upset, I would say "too bad". Don't worry about it.

Well you cant please everyone can you......saying that what ever happened to PF?
Lovely pictures by the way.

They all look as though they are wondering just what you are doing.

I can't understand why anyone would be upset. I recently showed photos of my old cat who has died. Well I don't think it upset anyone. If it did well it's just too bad. The same with your dogs. I wouldn't worry about it.

the only person you are upsetting is yourself Mr Potter

It is difficult to draw and paint your own face on paper or canvas because you see not only your face but your innermost self. I've had a go years ago but it wasn't easy. It is nice to have enough money to live on but happiness, love and understanding, and what comes from within the heart of a person that is important, not what you possess or how much money you have. We have a wonderful world of beauty around us, especially the morning skies, the wildlife, the flowers and trees, but I'm afraid sometimes people are too busy with their lives sometimes to notice. If you paint or take photographs, go walking in the countryside, or garden you notice all the changes in the seasons, breathe the fresh air, and look closely at the plants, their shapes colours and smell the different perfumes. Children are wonderful at opening our eyes to see things from such a simple understanding of things. Such wonder. Keep up the painting and sculpture
and just enjoy the spirit of creating things for others to enjoy.

Hello NP.
I didn't realise you had upset anyone.
All your dog photos show how much you love your dogs.:o)

On blog - sorry

Np - at least they gave them back and didn't try to sell them on e-Bay or give them to the Charity shop! LOL.

Lovely picture. I looked after a pair of barn owls for about twelve weeks and then released them on our smallholding that backed on to countryside. They were around for years.

LOL...Phoebe yodels and freaks some people out...but she does moult, because of the Sheba Enu...oh my goodness she is beginning to look like a buffalo hide now..! patches of fur gone...she does this 2 or 3 times through out the spring summer and fall...I will finally take her out on the deck after it warms a bit more and brush her out really well ... until then I let it take it's time and just brush little bits to keep the fall out to a minimum..but it still gets all over...Sofie only sheds once in comparison...my horse will be shedding before long too...lots of brushing to be doing soon!
