A special moment tonight!

14 comments

I had built a rather nice and very hot fire in the fireplace tonight and the living room warmed up great despite the near freezing temperature outside.
Our two cats liked the warmth also and promptly “flopped” on the couch:

The little boys just loved the warmth and cuddled together:

Such a sweet “Kodak moment”! {chuckle}

I have no idea what kind of cats they are..
They are just the two best adoptions that I have ever made!
When we went to the shelter to adopt a new cat, the little black one crawled out of his cage into my arms and did not want to be anywhere else for over an hour. I knew that he was the special baby that we were looking for.
The next week, we adopted his little gray brother, so he would have someone to play with in his new home. Now our little babies visit us in bed about 7:00 am every morning to inform us about the "cat food status" in their feeder and frolic in the Christmas tree. {chuckle}
Gotta love it!

Yes, I'm thankful that their morning wake-up time is later than 7:00am! {chuckle}
Our cat that passed away would wake us up around 6:00am, but it was a great way to start the day seeing my precious black cat "Midnight" in the early morning. Gotta love God's little creatures!
