I haven’t done much gardening recently. Instead I enjoyed two spells in hospital. The word ‘enjoyed’ does not stand up to scrutiny.
When I came home last week the garden was bursting into life, a bit unkempt, but so what. There were some sad specimens of strawberries still awaiting planting, interesting to see if there is any life left in them. And there is the apple tree with red apples, bought by my (much)better half. Managed to dig the hole-the doctors wouldn’t have been too happy-and in went the tree. Apples with red flesh, with our track record I doubt we’ll get to eat one.
The leylandi hedge has always looked good, as a green wall, but the kerria growing through it adds a splash of colour. Quite pleased with that.
Must get some photos.

So sorry to hear you have had two spells in hospital. Very much hope you are well on the mend now. Don't overdo things. Take whatever is the easiest approach! Every best wish for a speedy recovery - enjoy sitting out in the garden.

Hi JT - sorry to hear you've been out of things for a while and I hope you get better very quickly. It must have been a real treat for you to see your garden again after being stuck in a hospital bed.

Take it easy with everything and you'll soon be good as new and able to go back to gardening as usual.
