Digging

It’s been wet,so not really a time to go out and dig, especially if like me you have had recent surgery.
However some more of those bulbs that have the green shoots arrived,so I took the box and went outside. I must say they looked a little sad, squashed into a bag and tangled up.
Anyway I went out and planted most of them. It will be interesting to see how they do.
And not being the most organised of gardeners I enjoy seeing last years autumn plantings spring into life. It’s more fun when it is a surprise.
Going back a day,we wanted some grasses for the front garden to go with all the pebbles. The best offers seemed to be at a well known diy megastore, which had a reasonable range.
Back to the armchair.

Snowdrops, aconites and bluebells were the plants I bought. I am delighted to say that there are distinct signs of revival out there.Firm not limp!
However I am staying inside.

The bulbs will be a bit of pleasure if they get going. Most things are a bit of a suprise in my garden--we get reaquainted each year.
Get your energy restored whilst you may, ready for the gardening onslaught.
