Hi - I'm new to this. Hope I get the hang of the website. I usually get it all wrong. What a lot of lovely, friendly people there are on this site.
I am from MONMOUTHSHIRE, in the UK. Quite a 'Welsh' type of person. Fairly poorly as far as health is concerned. 62yr old female. Widowed on 9th Oct.09. I miss him so much.The garden will be my therapy.
We have moved from a large house to a little bungalow with a small garden. Just getting the back garden as I want it now. Need to concentrate more on the problems of digustingly poor topsoil (got conned)) on front (so-called) lawn. All gravel and more like sub-soil. Oh dear. The border is ok though as we bought in different soil. Very exposed front garden hence I was asking about rugged possibly evergreeen Clematis. I have lost two to real windburn. Probably wrong variety.
I would love to hear from any other members in the Monmouthshire/Gwent area.
