Winter has arrived up North, no ice here ....yet, but that has reminded me to fleece my Crinum which is outdoors in the border.

Yes, winter has arrived in Scotland for sure. We had a walk today and it was bitter. Very beautiful though and great visibility. Long may it continue. The fog was miserable.

It looks chilly for sure Dawn, are we going to get some winter now I wonder!!

Looking beautiful and so much more attractive than when the rain is pouring down. The weather must know that it is nearly December!!
Not here though, still damp and gloomy and no frost at all.

Siris, yes cold up north.
This autumn reminds me of the dreaded winter of 2010, that started early.
Karen it was a bit foggy here early this morning.

OH ! That's too cold for me :( We haven't had anything like that here I'm glad to say … makes me feel ill to see it :(
I hope it's a bit milder for you tonight Dawn ...

It's a pain Hywel but better than the dreaded snow, thank you

No frost here but it feels very cold. Brr, your picture makes me shiver...

I know, it's been really cold but sunny.

We've also had a couple of frosts but nothing "to write home about"! They haven't managed to kill off my Geraniums & Lobelias in the hanging baskets on the outside edge of the balcony! A touch of summer in winter still! I've not watered them in a couple of months either! It seems they get enough from all the rain we had during October & November! Even for us here in East Anglia, only 20 miles from Cambridge, in the driest region of the UK, we have had much, much more rain than I can remember in the nearly 20 years we have lived in this flat!

Oh Balcony, the rain has been endless hasn’t it, I got out yesterday and did some cutting back, the ground was firm for the first time in weeks, rain returns on Friday :-(

Looks lovely to me. We are having some frosty, sunny days. Much nicer than all that rain.

Yes, we've had some sunny days too, back to rain on Friday.
