Hi there. I have just come out of the garden after sitting in the sun for 40 minutes trying to get some vitamin D in a vain attempt to beat the winter blues. Although the sun wasn’t very strong it was still lovely to feel the rays on your skin and enjoy the blue sky. Had a good look around the garden and made myself a to do list which seems endless!! There is more light coming through into my garden since I had two pear trees taken down and had my remaining apple trees pruned. Going to Attingham Park tomorrow for our traditional pre-Christmas derr park walk so fingers crossed it stays dry and sunny. Always like to see what changes/progress they have made since the previous visit.
Hope you all have a festive and enjoyable Christmas with your loved ones. (We will be skyping with no less than 6 relatives on 4 continents on Christmas day)

Yes, A beautiful sunny day here today too. We went to RHS Hyde Hall although not to walk around the gardens. Hope it's not too windy fr your walk tomorrow.

It wasn't warm enough to sit in the sun here - but i did get the latest crop of leaves raked off the lawn - they blow in from everywhere even when we thought they were all colleceted...

Thanks everyone. Guess what? Hubby woke up with a horrible cold this morning so we didn't go!! Will try and go after Christmas. My garden is looking and feeling very bare at the moment. When are the hellabores supposed to come into flower? Also tips of bulbs are making a tentative appearance....

started digging front border yesterday as it has been invaded by couch grass. that will be a blog later this year early next :o)
