Flashing letters? Now I can't have had enough to drink cos mine aren't flashing!!

Now, this is strange, I still can't see flashing lights!

I think that some of you are either seeing the Happy New Year letters flashing or not depending on what you're using for a browser on your computer. This is done by copy and pasting an html link to animated art or a photo right into this blog entry. I use a photo and video service called Photobucket. Thats why you dont see the photos that I use in my blogs posted in the " latest photos " section first. It's done the same way as adding a link to your message but an immage link is used instead. Doing the animation or a photo can only be done when you first write your blog. I just tried it in this blog entry and it doesn't work.

Thanks Mike, I usually use Firefox so I opened this in I.E. and it's flashing there! Interesting to read how you did it! Clever. Just taken a look at Photobucket and see you can upload video's. I used You Tube to put a video on here so I guess you could use Photobucket instead?

This is very interesting Pottygardener... I started using Firefox a couple weeks ago and it wont let me post the animations. I can only do it using I.E. Yet... once it is posted it flashes when I'm using Firefox. By the way everyone,
I very highly recommend Firefox. The speed is amazing. I have a high speed internet connection and Internet Explorer is quite slower than Firefox.

YES you can use Photobucket instead. It's one of many image video hosting services out there.

Yes, I prefer FF to IE, apart from this one instance you get fewer running problems and I believe it is more secure.
Will keep Photobucket in mind in case I ever want to post a video again!
