Hard Going

My Front & Back garden is gradually getting sorted, lots of tidying, planting, clearing Hubbies mess from his Workshop but still things to do, the front is tidier as I now have a handy man/gardener to help, not bad £8 an hour, he cut back and tidied the shrubs and pulled out some weeds for me so that I could see the wood for the tree’s as they say lol.
I have laid two path’s down on both the lawns as best I can, Ha! A little wonky though, I got the pavers off of Freecycle in Southend-on-Sea, there were about 80 slabs to bring home a few at a time, glad we have a 4×4 it took 3 runs.
I will get him to help me in the back garden as well soon, he loved our garden, he said it has caricature having two levels and was surprised with all the work I had done, quite a few people that have seen the garden have said it is a credit to me & looks like a mini park, Ha! Ha! They have weeds too.
Still have tidying to do, not finished yet, My Husband Barry has still to repair our trailer so the rubbish and garden waste is still waiting to go to the tip, not putting it in the car again as the last time we done that I had spiders & spiders web’s inside the car the next time I used it Whooo! Not keen on spiders plus there were all sorts of creepy crawls too EKKKK! LOL
***********************************

Slab’s ready to be set in the upper lawn.

Slabs now laid.

Slabs nearly down on lower lawn & Pebbles making sure this slab is in the right positioned LOL

Slabs now in place, a bit on the wonky side though.

Path finished but has a slight kink in it LOL

Onto Front Garden

Before tidy up .

After the chap had pruned and tidied I started on the part I wanted to clear, first dig out dead cordyline.

In progress. The gardener sorted the other side of the tree stump.

Well, that is all for now folks, you will have to watch my next Blog to see how far forward I have got with the front garden.

I leave you with a vase of flowers from our garden.
