We were called to the babysit with baby Eliza today as she wasn’t feeling to well, cutting the last of her teeth, bless her and mum had to take big sister, Freya for and eye test. Grandparents to the rescue.

We started off feeling very sorry for ourselves

But then posing for the camera…

Until we noticed CBBS’ had started…

Who needs Grandma and Granddad then?

Very nice too......must be great to have grandchildren.
I was entertaining little ones today at a festival for under fives(as captain Blackfoot the pirate) I read stories and did a mini treasure hunt and it was absolutely lovely ...not like working at all.

She perked up very quickly with you....good job! :)

Was Mr Blooms Nursery ,or Mr Tumble on,by any chance ? lol..How quickly they forget they aren't well, don't they? She has certainly changed since I saw the last photo of Eliza,Julia..more like Freya every day, except she is fair..I think it is you and Richard that are secretly hooked on CBBeebies ! :o)x

Richard calls her his 'Blonde Bombshell' Your right Paul, it's not like working is it...until you get home, and then you realise how much energy you've used lol!

She was up and down Karen, but more up than down.

It was Mr Blooms Nursery, Sandra. Clever you! She does have a look of Freya, but she's the spit of her dad at that age...as for the CBBeeb's...it's one of the reasons we enjoy babysitting...but don't let on to mum and dad lol!

The children love Mr Bloom, don't they? I have worked at a festival last two summers where he has been on the main stage. Funny, because off stage, he isn't the most charismatic person but he is on stage, it seems.....to be honest, I think it's the mums who come to see him as much as the children!!!!

I can't think why, I think his diction is dreadful and he's not very good looking either...ah,well it takes all sorts, at least the kiddies seem to like him.

Oh she is gorgeous Waddy what lovely pictures of her, hope she is feeling better soon. :O) Sounds like you have had fun with her. Lottie here for next two days so I will see if she will watch CBB's instead of wanting the i.pad which she knows how to switch on and get to watch the videos on Youtube, amazing skills for an 18 month old puts me and Grandad to shame. lol :O)

I thought it must have been, given the time of day,Julia..not that I was ever glued to it with Thomas,of course :o) I am secretly hoping I get chance to watch it with Alfie at some point ..and do you keep humming the signature song ,long afterwards ? :o) x

She knows how to load the DVD player Barbara, which we don't and can put Youtube on her mums phone...kids these days :0)) Enjoy your two days with Lottie.

Guilty Sandra...We've both got an ear worm!!

13 Jun, 2016

13 Jun, 2016

Good grief Mum..you'd better keep an eye on that one! Lol!

13 Jun, 2016

That usually means she can twist him round her little finger ..and he knows it, but secretly he likes it lol!

13 Jun, 2016

Right...off to have a look at Mr Bloom!

13 Jun, 2016

Oh no....not good looking at all..very disappointing! Lol!

13 Jun, 2016

You have hit the nail on the head there Waddy she has him just were she wants him wrapped around her little fingers. lol :O) she will be toot tooting him as soon as she gets on the driveway on the morning, then laughing her socks off that's if she hasn't removed them on the drive back to ours. lol. She knows we are back at ours now when we cross over the dual carriageway and starts squealing as soon as she realises we are there. lol they are not babies for long these days.

13 Jun, 2016

Teething pain can be greatly reduced by keeping the mouth clean.I used to tell my patients to keep the baby's mouth as clean as you keep the baby's butt. There are many methods to do this. From one of the photos it seems that the gums in the area of the baby molars right and left are badly swollen and inflamed. If my impression is true, this should be examined by a dentist as soon as possible to prevent more serious complications.
