Brilliant, TT! You should be made poet laureate! One wee point though, and I don't want to be a nit-picking spoilsport - Mr Federer is a beautiful toad, not a frog. Not to mind - same difference!!! ;o)

Ha ha Terra, I was just asking where you were ....and here you are:-) I love toads, haven't had one for years, only frogs. Lovely blog and great pics. Tell Mr Toad that most Goy gardeners appreciate all he does and thank him for us... :-)

Brilliant blog as usual Terra,, very clever rhyming so nice to see you around again [you were missed]and Conker and Truffle too! I have had a mini version of Federer patrolling up and down my patio, just wish he is as big as yours then he could demolish a few more slugs.;0))

You always come up trumps Terra, you must spend ages thinking up all the ryhmes to go with the photo`s, your friend Federer moved in just at the right time to help rid your garden of some of the nasties, he`s perhaps hiding in another shady spot, working undercover so to speak, lol, its good to see the lads looking as handsome as ever..
Btw, I stood in for you earlier but the Golden Trowel Award is still yours to bestow, lol....

Lovely poem again Terra and I'm so pleased you're back! we haven't seen many frogs or toads this year. I don't know why.

Nice to see a new member of Team Terra. I do hope he has stayed around somewhere in your garden TT. If there is plenty of food - then he will surely still be there. MAYBE he's hopped of to find a lady friend so snuggle up to during the winter.

Last Friday and Saturday it was 106ºF (41.1)! Friday it was greater than 100ºF (38ºC) for 9 hours (from: 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.). Some places in coastal San Diego County were up to 112ºF (44.4ºC)

31! crikey!!..... it was about 6c this morning and now 12 hours later its 11c......still its not raining. :0)

I do agree Gran if it had to be hot as that or cold.....I'd choose cold, at least you can wrap up warm.....
