Oh Sheila you made me home sick although I don't come from Spain. It's amazing how some plants flourish in the Mediterranean region. At least we have grass and they don't have it. Look forward to seeing more of your pictures.

Shirley - although the weather was really hot - that pool was absolutely freezing, there's no way I would get in it!

Once you're in it would have been fine ... trust me ... been there, done that on holidays! ... :o)

Lovely Sheilar - the Clematis was huge - nice shot of the butterfly too - all looks so pretty - with that big pinkish plant too :)))))))))))))))))))) Looks a wonderful place - Welcome back :)))))))))

Ah! Marabella, Torremolinos, Fuengirola; florid window boxes, bird cages hanging outside the residents windows with canaries singing their hearts out, ancient narrow streets casted in light and shadow with gardens above seemingly hanging in mid air, cool breezy brilliantly tiled courtyards with lush tropical potted gardens with the music of splashing fountains; Making a turn around a corner, walking into mystery and entering into a revelation. The blazing hot beaches and off in the distance the snow capped Sierra Nevada mountains-fire and ice. What a lovely part of the world this is. The heat? That is what siestas are for; In the day you can dream and when night comes you can live!

I certainly wasn`t bored looking at your lovely photos, in fact I really enjoyed looking at them. :o)
