Have had a gorgeous blue lobelia in a pot which would like to put in a border now. Is that going to be ok and what sort of site ok?

Is this a Flag Lobelia? If so, they like sunny spots and well-drained soil.

Hi Spritz should've attached photo! Theres one on my photos - it's in pot together with a pot of pansies. Lost its tag telling me what it is.

OK - got it! Yes, that's a Flag Lobelia. I planted several of these this year, in a sunny border. they are supposed to be perennials, so fingers crossed!
