i want to grow from seed,i was told to leave on plant till dried out but its so wet i dont know what to do,help please

You were told right, but how we are supposed to do it is beyond me.They may still ripen to the point when we can harvest them - or just hope for some dry weather, I suppose - or buy new for next year. That's what I shall do about my Sweet peas.

Cover your bean row with a Polytarp, like a tent.
When the pods are dry harvest them, putting them on old newspaper in a tray. Dust with flowers of Sulphur.
Take the beans out of the pods in November. Store in a paper bag.
