I have left 1/2 doz runner beans to go brown on the vine and wondered the best way to dry and store the beans over winter before planting in the spring. Any advice welcome as this is my first attempt. BabsieB

Hi Babsieb and welcome to GoY, collect the pods, remove the individual beans and keep in a cool dry place in a paper bag or envelope over winter.

Hello

Whatever you do don't store the beans in a jar or a sealed container. They will rot !!
