Care of Solanum Album

My pot grown Solanum is very vigorous in growth, but the leaves are turning yellow and falling off, what may be the cause?

Is the pot large enough to take the expanding rootball? Otherwise, I should leave it until the spring, prune it and feed it and hope it revives.
