what can i plant in a small plot to keep it going all year round starting in sept ?

i have a very small plot which i am splitting up into half like a tunnel/greenhouse section and the other just outdoor conditions.
i live in the north east of england so i want plants suitable for indoor and outdoor conditions that will not take much room but will give me good heavy yields.
i would also like to have something for every month so some longer yielding plants and some quick yielding plants would be ideal
does anyone have any ideas ?
