Members' notes...
Sometimes called American Sanicle. Its root is a strong astringent. They come up wild in my yard and in our woods.
Dainty, beautiful foilage turning marbled purple in late summer.
Silver markings over burgundy on large leaves with silky sheen. Looks like reptile skin!
My 1st Heuchera and probably still my favourite.
dainty, compact form of coral bells, with stuning foliage turning marbled purple in late summer. flowers on tall stems suitable for cutting.
height and spread 30-45cm x 30cm.
prefers a moist but well drained soil in full sun or part shade.
bought from ebay may 2008 - planted in woodland bed.
