How do I look after Heuchera americana, e.g. when should it be pruned, fed etc.

I have a Heuchera americana and I think I have had it for 12 months, the flowers were beautiful in the summer, but I am not sure how to look after it.

Just cut off the dead flower stems in the autumn, and maybe give it a feed of a general purpose fertiliser once or twice during the summer. They don't need pruning, unless any leaves die back - then cut those off.
