Jacque a few years ago he was catching birds & mice for fun.

I bet ur so glad hes happy just watching them now are`nt u Clarice :)

Thats for sure, to be honest by the time it would have took him to get up, never mind catch her, she would have long gone.

I know what you mean, Clarice, my dog Chloe used to catch birds, etc but now they just slowly flutter out of her way as she walks round the garden. Smokey is beautiful and I bet he likes the warmth of the sun on those stepping stones.

Think he does, i also think he just wonts a quiet life.

Your Smokey is just like my Marmalade Clarice , she is to old and slow to be bothered and the birds know it ... Marmy will get up from sunbathing and walk through them , the birds hardly move... LOL ..

He sure looks a very contented cat........
