Love Acers - have just photographed our Palmatum Atropupureum. The colours are so beautiful, aren't they?

I love the acer, but I love what's growing next to it too ! I've been looking through mail order catalogs for it, local nurseries never carry it around here. I will have it in my garden again, I'll just have to find a place where it loves to be this time...lol

It's Corydalis Lutea Flcrazy, growing all over the garden when we came. It loves the shade and creeps in any gaps or cracks, but also makes a very pretty bushy plant in flower all year round.
