It was the only way I could get a decent picture. It just kept coming out over-exposed in daylight. Is your spotted one hardy? Does it grow in the garden or indoors?

I grow them in the garden and lift the corms every autumn. At present the leaves are the prominent attraction...they finished blooming by mid July...I love the shape and markings and the plants form a vase like V shape (sort of fountainish). like a certain punctuation mark !!! I've been blaming my aging camera for poor filters...seems I can't get a decent pic of yellow or white flowers these days.. good idea about twilight...I tried that with crocosmia.

Haha! I think I can visualize the punctuation mark!
I also have a problem with bright reds and oranges but I have no instructions for my camera which makes trying to figure out how to do things very annoying.
