The Cocker Spaniel Breed Standard says 'merry', and your Bertie certainly looks very happy indeed. My Sheltie collects up garden pots and saucers, so he and Bertie might make a good double-act ...LOL

Yeah he would love any dog that has things to do, not just sit around, he is always busy lol. He sleeps upstairs in our bedroom and is so tired at night he literally wags his tail all the way upstairs and at 6am he is ready to get up and start another day, so he jumps on the bed and lays across me until i get up. He is so much fun. Your dog is lovely and looks a real character too. Sue
