Beautiful - what are the two different plants with the same colour blossoms the deep velvety plum is gorgeous. I'm at the inspiration and planning stage for my very first boarder. Raised bed, 3ft wide with a natural wooden fence behind.

Hi Donna, welcome to GOY! The tall ones are Lupins and the shorter ones are irises. Good luck with planning and I hope you find some inspiration - there's plenty to see :o)

I've just found the planting list for this garden. It says Lupinus ‘Masterpiece’ (TBC) - I'm assuming it's the cultivar that is TBC.

What an amazing red...and I was right about the iris...wow..not often you find two different plants with blossoms almost exactly the same colour..and those beautiful orange poppies are the perfect complement..treat of a picture, Peter. nice to see the closeups.
