About me

I'm a total gardening newbie. I'm currently browsing for inspiration for my front drive set of boarders.
Front1 - raised bed, 3ft deep x 36ft wide with a wooden 4ft fence as the backdrop.
Front2 - Ground level, 1.5ft deep x 27ft wide with a 6ft fence as the backdrop.
Front3 - Qtr circle infront of bay widow, 4ft deep x 6ft wide

I'd like to make the boarders country cottage style, deep blue to purples, rose to shell pinks and white with odd yellow highlights e.g daisies. Themed around the Hydrangea 'Endless Summer'.

I like clematis', sasanqua's, madonna lilies, lupins, foxgloves, penstemon's, alliums, salvias, corn flowers, daisies and rock cress - all ideas from this website.

Please keep the inspiration coming!

I haven't started thinking about the back garden yet other than colour scheme, which will be deep red'ish/plum like the Clematis 'Niobe', and Heuchera 'Palace Purple' with orange and yellow splashes - to build warmth and depth.
Themed around a Hydrangeo 'Quercifolia' - oak leaved.
