Hi Tasteyg are these made from the lavender plants them self, and did you make these too...chezs

I did make these from the lavender plants from my garden. They're called lavender wands or bottles. It's a basic basket weave...one under, one over, etc. You start with and odd # of stems. I like to use 18 stems. Here's a link on how to make them:

They are good for your drawers or anywhere you'd like to smell lavender. They're so pretty, I like to see them. I have one on the dashboard of my car. They make nice gifts. :)

Regarding the odd # I prefer to use, that would be 19 or 21 and not 18 (oops) :)

Finally got around to making a couple of these. My lavender bushes are in full bloom and I've had little time to make these :( I'll be drying a lot of it for sachets and eye pillows so that it doesn't go to waste :)
