Manihot escalenta - Tapioca, Cassava Tree

Manihot escalenta - Tapioca, Cassava Tree (Manihot escalenta - Tapioca, Cassava Tree)

This tree is super fast growing and will produce a grove of trees in a couple of years. I think every seed germinates. I had one once and had millions of seedlings everywhere. The cassava or tapioca is harvested from the roots. Photo taken at Quail Botanical Gardens on July 6, 2010.
