This is a yard FIRST !! Pic taken yesterday in my back yard. This little moth uses grapevines and Virginia Creeper for its host plants.

I have NEVER seen these; I wonder if they range into Southern Ontario? Nice photo and an attractive little beastie, thanks!

My book says Maine and S. Quebec Gramazoo so I don't think that's you, but then I don't know Canada very well.

Oh My! Well thanks Di for the best chuckle that I have had all day!! I am just north of Buffalo, New York, so it sounds like their range is a little east of Ontario, but I will still keep an eye on the wild grape, lol!!

Oh goodie... now that my sides are no longer aching... I'm 45 minutes drive east of southern Quebec....I might just have a chance to view this lovely...as I said before I will now keep my eyes trained on my VC.Grammazoo is very much south and west of my location...and in or near the grape growing areas of Southern Ontario... don't count yourself out on this one Grammazoo.
