I really like the folk lore surrounding this guy and I'm keeping my eyes open for a little guy for myself now all I have to do is find the right one.....same old story takes forever to find the right fellow! Hel.xxx.

I actually started a group on facebook for the Green Man, I find the history of him very interesting.

I think your 'Green Man' is super, Gillian, he is the most attractive one I have ever seen. I have hankered after having one in my garden, but like you, Hel, I have yet to find the right one :-)

He's got a nice smile. They vary so much dont they. I too am interested in the history behind him. My father 73 did a wood carving course at college (he passed) and for one of his projects he did the green man in lime wood. I was lucky enough to gain him as no one else liked him. Shame but great news for me. I have put a photo of him on my page.

I think so! I just put him up in my new place. No tree for him here yet, but the fence post behind the flower garden works just fine.
By the way, this guy totally freaks out one of my daughters, she says he's scary!
