I'd like to be there, right now !

You'd be most welcome. How is your weather going there Louise? I've heard it won't really improve much before next week.

You're exactly right Bernie.
This region doesn't get it as bad as other places but it's still a pain in the bum from the motoring point of view.
I drive a lot for a living and snow and ice means no driving so no working :-(

Yes I would imagine driving has been out of the question lately ... I seen some amazing pictures on our news over here of the conditions on the roads ... scary stuff!

I have forgotten what green looks like. We have been white for so long now ! ..:o))

Mushy .. don't worry we'd forgotten what green was too ...everything had been pretty brown for a while, so we're enjoying the green!

lovely view weather not to bad here either, but with it freezing every night everywhere is dead slippy, i wont walk outside can't keep my feet on the ground, but can get down my garden as learned cat litter is as good as grit so i had some in my shed and quess what it works brill no slipping or slidding at all. best bit is where i live they have run out of salt and i live in a seaside town so dont know why they can't use sand of the beach.

Brilliant bit of problem-solving there Carol!!! Clever! Glad to hear the weather is somewhat better! Hope you're staying cosy and warm at night ... think I'd be having a hot toddy or two before I went to bed over there.

Quess what i dont like whiskey but this last few weeks been putting some in a cup of tea before i go to bed, it taste a lot better in a cupper. The weather not bad where i am but i down south of England and Scotland are getting it bad.

He..he..a little nip can hardly be noticed in a strong cuppa ... had a bit of experience with that myself! Well I hope the weather keeps clearing for you ... hopefully it won't be long now.

Lovely view Berniah , it looks so lush ..

I read that about the cat litter Carole , we were running out of it for our cat and I was worried that the shelves would be empty , in fact there was only one bag left !

Thanks for your comment Amy ... yes we've been getting a bit of rain so everything has just taken off.

Looks like the cat litter secret is out then ... there'll be no salt or cat litter in the whole country soon.
