A few years ago on Gardeners world it showed two people who always gardened in the nude. I don't remember their names but they had a large garden near Malmesbury. I don't think I'll be copying them - I grow too many Cacti !

Sorry folks...... We appeared on 'Gardeners World' and we wouldnt garden in the nude.Too many risks with the dibber and the shears.
We dont want to prune any unnecessary growth!! -
Sorry if its a disappointment for you Jacque !!!
Just be content with my eccentric personality on G.O.Y
Lots of love from Grenville and Alan xxx

The nude gardeners are at Abbey House Gardens, Malmesbury. And they don't do things by half either - for the Millenium they planted 2000 roses (and keep them dead-headed!). When the gardens are open, they wear minimal clothing (sorry to disappoint you all)

Absolutely a no-no! it is raining (again) and our forecast says 'warmer, but rain'. I will be fully clothed if I do get outside! I don't want to confirm the village's opinion that I am indeed a crazy gardener! If you have lived (or do) in a village, you will know how quickly 'village gossip' spreads!

I live on a housing estate - do you think they would give me an ASBO if I tried it - no just the thought of it...maybe it would scare the cats off the veggies - no dont go there..

I do it all the time - especially at this time - in the wee sma' hours. It's warmer in the greenhouse than the herbaceous beds, tho. Also, it saves having to wash yourself AND the clothes afterwards, so, better for the environment - saving water, detergents, etc. (?!***!?)
