superb day with perfect weather, not a cloud in the sky for our visit to Gardening Scotland which is our Chelsea

it was very hot so many drinks and ice creams were consumed!!
I bought lots of pretty alpines to start an alpine garden.

this bridge was well done

I loved this and couldn’t understand how it only got a bronze

superb colour and specimen

lovely peony

these blue poppies were gorgeous
I could go on and on about my visit as it was so good, as it is every year.
great ideas and bargains to be had and on a perfect day like today where better to be?
If you can you should try to pay a visit next year.

Ooo, Helen, I am turning green as I type. Lol

I have just shown your piccie of the volkeswagen to my partner who said, 'I thought it was only ALPINES that grow in a garden.' Guess he didn't see it as a Beatle. ;-)

it wasa great day.
I have spent all today [in very hot sunshine] creating an alpine garden with old bricks so that the plants I bought at the show can be displayed nicely.
I am very pleased how it has turned out but I am absolutely exhausted and in need of a hot relaxing bath. LOL

It was a great show, Helen. Hope you alpines are doing well, remember to water them if you are planting in this heat.
