Lavandula stoechas 'Tiara'

Lavandula stoechas 'Tiara' (Lavandula stoechas (French lavender))

My old one is getting woody and leggy - so I've planted a new one next to it, to take over when the old one goes.

Aptly name with this crown of white. Looks lovely.

The only problem with this, lovely though it looks, is its aromatic smell - I can't stand it and avoid deadheading until I have to. :-(

None of the othe L. stoechas have that effect on me??

This is a really lovely cultivar of this lavender. Pity about the smell, 'Rue (Ruta) has the same effect on me, I can't stand it.

That Geranium..... macrorrhizum.... I can't stand the smell of its leaves, either. when I heave out bits of it, I have a clothes peg on my nose! LOL.

Glad you approve, Eileen. I wonder if you'd like the scent of it?

What else?

See who else is growing Lavandula stoechas (French lavender).

See who else has plants in genus Lavandula.

This photo is of "Lavandula stoechas" in Spritzhenry's garden
