Thanks to you all.

No Lori, she normally doesn't do such radical trimming - you'll see from some other photos I sent yesterday that unfortunately she had to hack it down because it came away from its suports on the wall after a terrible windstorm and torrential rain we had the other night - it was too dangerous to leave it hanging doiwn onto the pavement and there was no way she could get it back onto the wall - unless she got the fire brigade in !!!

Never mind, she can now give it lots of her TLC and it will slowly come back to life next year ....

Yes ..on the upside...it may be a stimulant and next years growth could be even more spectacular... Fingers crossed!
