About me

Semi retired I spend a lot of time in the garden-especially since I grow lots in pots which can take a long time to water!
I love fuchsias,hellebores and have been trying to grow proteas since we went to South Africa 2 years ago when my daughter got married.
For the first time I have buds coming on a few of my protea~ really hoping I can get them all safely through the bad weather and into flower!
My husband and I go to the RHS flower shows and Kew and Wisley often and in 2008 had a lovely break in Cornwall-visited a few of the nurseries including Trevena, Burncoose and the Duchy of Cornwall as well as the Eden project.
Amazing fuchsia varieties at the Duchy of Cornwall nursery and they have very good on line sites.in 2010 hoping to get to the other RHS sites and back down to Cornwall.
