I love the scent of wisteria especially after rain…..Today the scent is overpowering; the sun is out and I’ll sit, with a glass of wine, and enjoy two senses being satisfied…

What a lovely place. I never knew wisteria was scented - must be wonderful to sit under it.

Have you been away with those little birds Expats or still looking for that crock of gold???, you are just trying to make us jealous, its too cold here to sit out with a drink unless wearing winter woollies, lol...
Your place does look lovely and its good to hear from you again......

Louisa15, Dianebulley, Sarahm...Thanks for your response

Steragram...Yes; it's a lovely, rich heavy scent

Lincslass...I Just got out of the habit. The 'crock of gold' still eludes me although I've found more medieval coins.
It's nice and sunny but the wind (NE) means the 28C feels more like 15C (no sitting out today)...
Nice to be back...

It must be so exciting finding relics from the past, I'd be in my element playing with a detector, knowing my luck the only thing I'd find would would be a toy long buried by the kids, I do love history and checking out about the finds would be so interesting, not very knowledgable just like the subject..
Its bitterly cold here today as well and keeps raining, I've even given up working in the greenhouse, 3pm and I've put my fire on to get warm again, mustn't grumble though its heartbreaking in lots of places....

Lincslass....If you are interested perhaps you might google "Bournemouth University Big Dig"....

The friend who loaned me the 'detector' was the discoverer of this site. However, 'academics' don't like those who use metal detectors (even though they have made major discoveries for them) and he gets no credit anywhere [n the write-ups...
