Today Nov 24th I went to our local independent supermarket, they had winter pansies and cyclamen for sale outside.
A very enterprising large bumble bee was thoroughly enjoying the floral treats laid out so conveniently His pouches stuffed full with pollen, all this after a very hard frost last night!

i saw a bumble bee in our garden yesterday, I was very surprised, like you, to see one after we'd had frost. I wonder where they hide themselves.
