It was a lovely day today so Josie, Jubilee and Little ’Un spent a couple of hours in the garden while I tidied up a little.

As soon as the sun disappeared they went back under the warmth of the heat lamp. Hopefully we will soon have more warm, sunny days :)

Lovely blog Gee, do you have to keep a close eye on them when they're out and about?

Not really, Skillen, the garden is secure. The only problem is when Little 'Un hides himself by 'digging in' and only a little of his shell shows. The other two are too big to hide very easily :)

Thanks, everyone, they have enjoyed the sunshine again today (and so did I).
Only vet guestimates re: age, MW, the biggest (Josie) is probably between 80-100, middle one (Jubilee) about 60-80, and Little 'Un probably about 10. It will be nice when they can spend all the time in the garden and I can reclaim my dining room :)

What great photos, I haven't seen a tortoise since I was a child. I know how they feel enjoying the sun. I had lots of other things that i should have been doing but stayed outside pottering around in the garden
