What a great idea :)

Pitty we can't post photos on this thread. I'll have a think and put them in a blog. It will be something for me to do while Beryl watches all those miserable characters yelling at each other endlessly in the soaps.

One of my favs is my new little Sollya. I love her. Can't wait until she flowers again next year :)
I'm off to look through my photos !

Performed the best? Trust you don't mean rampant!

My top plants were Prunus kojo-no-mai (gorgeous autumn leaves as well as white blossom in April); Viburnum plicatum 'mariesii', and simple trailing Verbena which flowered all summer :)

I've posted a blog :)

I love Kojo no Mai too but my favourite last year was a fuchsia, Wharfdale and am so happy theres a cutting coming along well too. The flowers a not huge but are very prolific and it goes wonderfully well next to red leaved sedum, or anything else that colour. Wild primroses seed all over the place too and are a great cheerers-up - some are beginning to flower already.

Great idea Dotty ... off to give it some thought now.

My best plant was the County rose Essex, an open single petals, bee friendly sprawler, but easily cut back she bloomed June till October. Sometimes this rose wants to climb too. Garden is in need of TLC since the weather got colder.

Doric if you have a photograph do put it one, would love to see it....

Oh what a fabulous idea, Dd, I'll have to sort my photo's, my top performers have to be my roses, some of which are still producing blooms and the Blue Campanula which has been in continuous flower for two years now, nothing stops that pretty spreading plant, except me with my shears and even then it soon flowers again....

I like the sound of your Campanula Sue :)

Great idea. What fun too to be able to enjoy 2017 again with GOY friends in their gardens. I will have a look and see what I can find. I have been too distracted to post much in the past twelve months but I have tried to keep photos over the year.

Dd its added new life to Goy, I think we sometimes get a bit stuck on what to write about, unless having a change around, otherwise its just a case of repeating our blogs, especially this time of the year, roll on sowing and planting time, also springtime naturally, hoping it comes early again, I'm getting stircrazy already, lol.....

I too am fed up with the wet grey weather, always thinking of ways of cheering myself/others up, this was down to Instagram, so I cannot take all the credit...lol!!
