**SPRING IS HERE AT LONG LAST**

Have been rather busy creating new areas of interest this year, so almost missed the lovely spring show in the garden, so went out today with the camera…

It has been very warm over the last few days, but the nights have been chilly, so the tree ferns are still fleeced, everything is growing fast, almost too fast!! especially the tulips……

So there we are, a few photographs of Spring in our garden, thankfully we have nearly finished the little projects, but not wanting to overload you, will save those for another day, thanks for reading, have a great week in your garden, and don’t forget to take plenty of happy, sunny photos…….

Love the Prunus. Have you removed the border towards the end of the garden? I am looking at the forth pic from the end.

Your garden looks lovely, very pretty. What is the tree in the fourth photo down from the top? It looks very much like a tree we inherited in our garden when we moved in two years ago. I knew it was some kind of blossom tree, but wasn't sure which one. We didn't notice the tree when we viewed the house in December, but when we moved in the following April and walked into the garden on the first day we were very pleasantly surprised and pleased to find this. It was certainly a wow factor and we look forward to seeing it every year, just wish it bloomed for longer. Have always wondered what it was though.

looking good, lots of lovely spring colour. Been good weather up here too, spoiled myself rotten outside in the garden all last week, but all spring cleaning jobs (in garden) done, now for the house, well thinking about it!!! but not very hard. lol.

You have a wonderful display of spring flowers in your garden - it would have been criminal to have been too busy to have seen it!

Gardens are to be enjoyed - not to work yourself half to death over! Consider yourself reprimanded & in the future take care to spend more time enjoying what you have. :-))

Balcony...... sorry but we had a deadline, the projects needed to be finished within a certain time, as I am going to be forced out of action for sometime:-( normally I am the first to sit and stare....... Thanks Olive, the weather has been ideal to get on with pressing jobs...
Dahlia the tree you are asking about is a Prunus, the variety Shirotea., but there are many others...
Thanks Daylily..
Siris, no the middle border towards the back of the garden is still there......the picture you are looking at is at the top of the garden on the right.....

Siris, I am not surprised you were disoriented!! the middle border does not come into its own until June, hence no photos, also, being as we moved most of the roses there in the Autumn, the planting around them is all very new, so it will be either a delight or a disaster!! lol!:-):-)
Thank you so much Gnarly and Seaburn for your kind comments..:-D:-D much appreciated...

Dotty, were it not for those lovely arches I wouldn't have recognised your garden from that long time ago when we visited! All looking wonderful. I do like your grouping of pots and ornaments by the sun dial. Love the white Hyacinths too ...
