Selworthy a pretty village on Exmoor.

We were here last week and in between the showers I was able to take a few photos.

It is a true chocolate – box village and has a lovely tea room!

The lovely tea room which I mentioned at the beginning served us two delicious hot chocolates and a lemon drizzle scone with home made lemon curd!!
It was memorable!!!

I am so pleased you had a good holiday Chris! I have never heard of a lemon drizzle scone and with lemon curd!
It looked such a pretty place and glad you had the sun!
We had sunny days apart from one in Norfolk and came home to cold and wet!

Sounds lovely, I love anything with lemon. You should have asked for the recipe, but maybe it's secret. Glad you had a nice time.

Thank you everyone for looking.
I hadn't heard of lemon scones either but they were really nice. Because we had eaten quite a large breakfast that morning we decided to share one scone.........now THAT was a mistake!!!
The village is owned by the National Trust and really does have that 'olde worlde' feeling and all the cottages are painted the same colour.
