Celebrating Raindrops

I love rain. It makes me feel relaxed, and it makes the whole place feel fresh and smell nice. I enjoy seeing raindrops on leaves and petals, and watching them run down the window panes … and I like to splash through the puddles lol

Now I don't want to seem ungrateful but after a week of dark days, rain showers and strong winds I am longing for the sunny days! I know - you can't please everyone! lol

I too am appreciating some raindrops and even a couple of nice puddles, however that does not mean I want it to stay around too long, two days every two weeks will do me fine, failing that it can come at night times, now is that asking far too much do you think, one good thing is I am actually catching up on Goy, lol...Do like your pics Sunnydais..

we gardeners need a fairy Godmother to make it rain overnight and sunny (moderate) during the day! but like you Hywel I do like to see the rain as well ...years ago me and my husband spent a very rainy day out to Margate ..we wore our rain gear and really enjoyed walking about in the rain ..but we felt sorry for the young families and their children ..not so nice for them on their one day out!!

I love raindrop photos. Your second one's lovely! Lets not moan too much about the rain but enjoy beauty where we find it!

It's rained hard here all day, but I don't mind a bit. The rain is being a much better gardener than I could ever have been today if it were fine! And the lawn is finally starting to give me some hope that it may yet survive....
