I went to the market in our little town yesterday and of course no trip to the market is complete without a visit to the plant lady. Look what I found.

A bargain at £4.00 in a garden centre it would have been about £13.00

I have had a very good week. On Saturday I placed an order with Fentongallon for my veggie plants. Went to B&Q on Sunday to buy a curtain rail and came home with a Clivia

Had a trip to the Garden Centre on Monday got several packs of seeds, seed trays and 3 lots of plug plants.

All now planted up!

Plant ladies are nice Sue, good buy, you have been busy and will be for a while judging by the amount in your greenhouse. I like your curtain rail ,lol....

Thanks Lin .....I've still more to plant I want to have lots of colour in pots this year as most of my garden is very nature shrubs and a lot of green.

I went mad with sowing seeds a couple of years ago and then come unstuck when it came to potting on. Not enough space.
Good luck.
You have put me to shame as I need to clean my glass on my green house.

I have thought about the space when potting on and as I have two spare rooms it's not going to be a problem. As for the glass I use a solution of washing up liquid and white vinegar. Works a treat!

I think my earlier comment has vanished in the system ! Would you recomment a greenhouse to be sited North -South or East-West facing ?
Is there a great difference . . . what do you think ?

Mine is East - West I have great success. I don’t know anyone with North- South. I’ve had a few problems tonight I think theirs a gremlin in the works tonight.

Found your photos .... that's a great grevillea and I love your clivia. I don't know that you've been bad enough though! .... only 13 packets of seeds! Lol! I see you got one of my all-time favourites - gazanias. I'll be looking forward to seeing them all in bloom.
