Lichens on a tree (are you up for a bit of that?, I know I am : )

A bit of tree has fallen over and it seems these lichens are loving the situation, liked some of the interesting colours here, enjoy : )

Nice bit of red here, looks like somethings been chomping on the bark (not me btw)

polytunnel : )

Oh yes indeed, another splendid pallet creation, this piece of art is entitled ‘Horse barrier’. Please note the swinging arm (with rest) and dog friendly access, I thank you.

and to finish off, another bit of sky, as the sun goes down

Aw, cool. Just as awesome as my moss blog!!
Lichen, what can you say? Love the colour and textures and are you convinced Stevie that that is a good and proper rendition of 'red'?

I restrained myself from commenting on the 'trueness' of the red lol ; ) anyway thats a browny red so doesn't count!!
It did cross my mind 'gosh this is better than Lulus boring old mosses' ; ), just kidding of course, but I do remember your mighty fine moss blog, which shall not be surpassed, with alien balloon and poetry. Having said that I should have jazzed this up a bit with ummm maybe a nice healthy bare chested woman ; )

you up late Lulu? hope you are doing ok there, hope you are not in too much discomfort, I will send out some reiki-esk healing power in my thoughts to you x

That tree and its lovely lichens would be at home here, Stevie. Our mountainsides are peppered with them. Love the sunset!

What amazing pictures, Stevie. Are those fruit trees the lichens are growing on?

Heh!
Thank goodness you didn't reply last night or else I would have gone to bed even later. Last night was apres band practice.
Discomfort only brought on again last night by me bouncing around playing my drum. The vibrations rattled the stent the docs put near my kidney!!! (too much information maybe?)
