Well said steragram.

It's driving me mad now! What do they hope to gain from their stupid pointless blogs do they really think that anyone on here or anywhere else for that matter would want to read them pointless.they must have a too much time on their hands maybe they should take up gardening lol :) rant over

its just so tiresome, I was in a hurry tnis morning anc gave up before finding the new blogs.....

Hi Sue, the earliest I can get onto GoY, is mid afternoon, by which time all the stupid blogs have been taken down, Derek.

I don't normally see them as I usually play on here in the evening. It would be nice to think the culprits read our comments but I don't suppose they do.

I saw these early this morning,and after counting 40 of the darned things,I flagged the first one,and mentioned how many there were..There was no way I was going to flag each and every one ! It is now 8.45pm,and still 40 !
Maybe Dave is unavailable just now..but that's it,I shall just ignore them from now on..

Seems like these are the worst yet.

I hadn't even spotted them, I only knew they were there because I read this blog first, they are really getting on my wick though, I couldn't be bothered with them so have only flagged three, I have apologized to Dave and told him there are a lot but thanked him as well...I refuse to allow them to drive me away, luckily they're usually all following on so shall simply scroll down to a proper blog....

Blasted things drive you mad. I used to flag each one individually but just lately there's been so many its silly, so I'll flag the first one and say how many there are. After that I just ignore them - certainly not worth any of my time. I've got far more important things to do - like reading the gardening blogs lol.

You'd get a shock if they did answer you Stera, in actual fact I guess we all would, lol....

Seems to be some form of cyberattack utilizing "word salad".

More this morning, I'm afraid. I'm soooo fed up with them!

I wonder if giving us a password to put in before we could blog would work - it needn't apply to questions - how about it Dave? I think a lot of us are so fed up we would be happy to chip in to pay for any reprogramming necessary?

Not sure how a safety net to exclude commercial firms from applying for a password would work though. there must be a way somewhere
It wouldn't apply to asking questions so they would still be open to anybody.

I've flagged a few. Rubbing it in a bit aren't they, its chucking it down and they're advertising sunglasses and trainers, lol...
Not sure what the answer is but wish it could be solved, think the ones I'ved flagged are under pets, years ago we had the option of hiding blogs that we didn't wish to see, never used it as I like all the blogs so don't know whether that would stop them, I'm off to see if they have all come up under pets....
Beggar It, that won't work as the first one I landed on was under nature and this mornings flagging were under pets, can't block them that way then as we'd lose all our blogs, not sure if it would have worked anyway, t'was just a thought...
I've had a play with my filtering options and they do work, got rid of half of them by having the only gardening option activated, trouble is the ad bloggers are submitting under all our options and as I said I like all the subjects we chat about, I activated the only GB option and they all got through anyway, guess that means its being done here, oh well it passed away part of a wet morning....

I think you'd better all get IPads as you don't get any unwanted blogs at all & very few adverts.

I didn't flag the last ones.
I often think of telling them off, but I don't think they'd read it. They just want to advertise their goods.

Ah yes 'Feverfew, but don't photos come out sideways, or is that just ipods? Adblock plus deals with unwanted adverts at least. I wonder how the ipad knows which blogs are rogue ones???

I know ipad is not cheap and a bit password ridden too, but I like the ease of enlargement of pictures. Mostly I look at GoY on Vista. I think our friend has set it to keep such intrusions at bay. I don't know how, as he had to take it down completely some time back, as I had a trojan virus messing up the works.

Ah well, I still have my trusty PC. i don't think i could cope without a proper keyboard...

Bloomer, that was a paraphrase of what I'd really like to say to them! LOL. I might get flagged if I typed the words I have in mind...

I'd have been kicked off the site many a time if I'd written down my first thoughts, only just logged in so didn't know there were more, I always check my newsfeed page first, weather is good here so only just having a coffee break....

We did, thanks. More than last week! A lovely sunny day, too - all day. Today my garden is back to being MINE! :-D) I wish you could come, too.

It couldn't have been a better day,could it?but nice to have it back to yourself,as it will have been hard work..not just a case of smiling sweetly at visitors.. but a lot won't think of what you have put into it,to get it looking so good Maybe one day,Barbara,you never know..if we are down your way.:o)

You'd be very welcome...and you're right, it's VERY hard work. We have a Visitors' book, where some people write - it's lovely to look back on nice comments. :-))

I don't look at the blogs very often but I've set my preferences to only see the blogs about gardening (sorry guys I know a lot of you write about your families and pets)
