Lovely Sheilar..I like the outdoor hyacinth they have just come up over here. The blue looks so vibrant outside.

Thanks Paul. The 'snow in summer' plant (silvery grey thing) has been in there for years and the bulbs just grow through it. It's a good plant for filling in spaces although it can be invasive. It's there all winter too which is an added bonus.

it looks like brachyglottis - we have that - I love silvery foliage

No Paul (I've just checked on it) it's cerastium and gets an abundance of little white flowers on it, very pretty

does look similar though - Brachyglottis is quite big - must look out for this too Sheilar :))))))))))

Wow, everything is growing beautifully. My berberis is not showing any new growth yet in spite of a few warm days and my peony has only just broken through. Your garden is looking very spring like :)

Lovely photos Sheilar, isn`t it great just to see things bursting through the soil and the shrubs and trees coming into leaf.
