Glorious Spring!

Just a few random photos on a gloriously warm and sunny day – amazing for mid April.

I am thrilled to see this little blossom on Prunus Royal Burgundy because the tree was only planted three weeks ago, and I’ve never planted a ‘bare root’ tree before.

All looking good, Sheila. I'm impressed with the tidiness of your greenhouse!

Happy Easter from me too. All looking good in your garden. Those Prunus are beautiful, especially the bronzy foliaged ones.

Those daffs look like my Thalia, such a lovely colour if you know what I mean.

taking cuttings is fun isn't it? Especially when they look as healthy as yours do.

Thanks Ange … my greenhouse is usually tidier than the house!

Thanks Eileen, I’m glad you confirmed the Thalia - yes, somehow they’re a lovely shade of white. I do enjoy taking cuttings … when they work πŸ™‚.

Well gardening has to take precedence in the Spring after all! I bet you have a big smile on your face when you go down the garden!

Happy Easter Sheila and isn't it nice to have the good weather! I just hope it lasts!
Your garden looks very pretty and love your prunus.
I have tulips in my rose garden which I don't remember planting either! Nice surprise though!

Thank you Rose, yes, the weather has been amazing this Spring …

Thanks Klahanie, I always seem to choose Japanese cherries with bronze leaves πŸ™‚.
