This is Prunus Tai Haku … sorry that it’s a bit blurred, but it is a favourite because it has good autumn colour too.

Prunus cerasifera (plum cherry?)

Prunus Chocolate Ice

Anemone blanda

Ipheion

Amelanchier shrub

So lovely to see the sun today! Happy Easter holidays x

Thanks Klahanie … yes, I thought you had at least one Prunus cerasifera. Any cherry tree is fine by me! xx

They are all beautiful Sheila! I have the Amelenchier which is just coming in to blossom.

They are very pretty, Sheila, I couldn’t choose a favourite! I had a small cherry tree in the back garden, it sadly succumbed to some sort of fungus I think - we tried to save it! It had a white double blossom..arched lovely over a seating area too..
You’ve a lot of lovely spring snow in the garden..your amelanchier looks beautiful!

Many thanks for your kind comments Rose and Kate! I do like the expression “spring snow” 🙂. And what a treat it is to be writing blogs and uploading pictures again …

Your garden must be a joy jut now with all that lovely blossom. The little Anemones are great - perfection in simplicity (see they made me come out a over poetical...)

Lovely Spring Flowers. I love the Anemone blanda & the
Ipheion. I have been without an IPad for a bit, so have some catching up to do, this is a new one. We have had some nice warm days recently, then it went back to freezing winds for a bit but I feel Spring is on its way after seeing your lovely blooms.

Love your cherry trees Sheila, and they're growing nicely too, aren't they..:) The anemone and ipheion are so pretty too. I do especially love your Amelanchier, I planted one years ago, then gave it to mum for her garden when we moved to Spain. Lovely spring colours and gorgeous in autumn too!
I'm thinking of planting acers in my raised bed in autumn...:)

Thank you Josee, glad you are managing to catch up.

Janey, warmest thanks! Yes, the Amelanchier is definitely a favourite, and Acers in your raised beds sound an excellent idea 🙂.
